Commercial insurance needs to change. Insify was born out of our frustration with how traditional insurers operate. We’re a start-up that is well underway to change the “dull” and “tedious” image of insurance to engaging, easy, and reliable (yes, really!).Getting your car or mobile phone insured is pretty easy online. But insuring the risk you run with your company is a pain today for many entrepreneurs. Manual forms, forced coffee with advisors, endless questions to fill out, and hefty pricing……and once insured, what if your company adds a new activity? Chances are, you won’t be covered for that, but you’ll only find out once you submit a claim. “Sorry, but renovating a roof is not covered on your construction company’s policy.”We are a tech company at heart, building our proprietary insurance platform. We extensively rely on data to figure out how to best get (and keep) our customer’s companies insured. Combined with our fully online portal, real attention to design, and leading underwriting, taking out business insurance may just become a fun experience.Insify is a well-funded company operating out of Amsterdam. Our team is led by seasoned entrepreneurs who have built successful businesses in fintech/e-commerce (SumUp, HelloFresh, Bloomon, Blendle, Othera, Knab). We are fully licensed and are backed by Munich Re, the largest global reinsurer. Now it’s all about turning the global $720bn insurance business upside down.

About the job
Join our growing startup as one of the first team members and help us build a fantastic team. You will work alongside our founder (Koen), build our employer brand and recruit for all types of roles, both non-technical as tech. Besides recruitment you will be our go to ‘people’ person. You will drive all people related processes and help us build a great place to work.

What you will do

  • Bring in great talent – both technical and non-technical, at all levels
  • Responsible for full cycle A-Z recruitment – from job intakes to sourcing, interviewing to negotiating and closing offers
  • Ensure our Employer Brand is visible and rocking in the market – you will ensure everyone knows Insify is the place to work
  • Collaborate with everyone at Insify – to ensure we have a fantastic candidate and employee experience and smooth processes
  • Learn and Grow! We are looking for someone who is interested in a broader career than just recruitment and is keen to take on our people processes in general.
  • You will become responsible for the entire employee experience. With some external help to get you going and mentor you along the way.

It’s basically a great opportunity to join a growing B2C fintech at an early stage. If you are a recruiter who’s dreaming of a next step, owning the branding, and moving from candidate experience to full employee experience… this is it!

Who we are searching for

  • You have 3+ years of Talent Acquisition experience – either agency or inhouse
  • You have sourcing experience for hard to fill profiles – you have to enjoy the hunt at times
  • You are creative and have solid writing skills – this comes in very handy when building our employer brand
  • You love taking ownership – you won’t be told what to do, you tell us what we need to do!
  • You are a real team player and pretty flexible – we are still small and all do a bit of everything, you must love this
  • You have excellent communication skills in English – Doesn’t have to be native, but close to native would be great. Dutch not needed.
