Sales Intern (24 – 40 uur p/w)

Contentoo is expanding in the Netherlands and the rest of Europe. We’re looking for a Sales intern who wants to develop her/himself and prepare deals for the sales team. Do you have creative ideas for how we can book more sales appointments with potential clients? We are Contentoo, a successful, fast-growing scale-up based in Amsterdam. Contentoo links the best freelance copywriters, designers and content strategists all over the world with international companies. We do this using our content creation platform. Contentoo is making remote working the standard for content marketing. Since we started in 2017, we have doubled our revenues each year. We are on track to double our earnings in the year ahead as well by serving even more satisfied customers. Our impressive client portfolio includes international companies such as Booking.com, Rituals, Ebay, Mollie and E.ON. During the next year, we will expand into new markets in Europe. Within three years, we want for our platform to be the leading content marketing solution throughout the continent.

As a Sales Intern, you are the gatekeeper to our success at Contentoo. You work closely with the BDR’s, Account Executives and the Head of Sales. Taking initiative and working proactively are not only encouraged, but also required. Where others see challenges, you see opportunities. You share our positive attitude and want to deliver the best possible solutions for our clients.

What is the role of the Sales intern?
Your job as Sales intern is to help our BDR’s and Account Executives to have a full schedule of sales appointments at all times. You do this first by looking for potential clients who will benefit from using our platform. Fortunately, we already know a lot about our ideal client profile, but you will also help us to refine and expand it. Then, you will be trained to (in the end) approach the right people through various channels, often using recorded videos, LinkedIn, e-mailing and phone contact. You’ll spark interest in our solution, and keep track of your activities in our CRM system, HubSpot. Ultimately, your goal is to make sure that the team is able to book appointments with as many qualified leads as possible.

  • You’re curious and ambitious
  • You’re tech savvy and sales oriented
  • You’re excited about shaping the future of remote work in content marketing
  • You’ve got excellent communication and writing skills in both English
  • You are confident in your abilities but also open to coaching
  • Experience is a plus, but drive is even more important
