Operations Excellence & Community Internship (32-40 uur p/w)

For this position, we are looking for someone who can take ownership, is ambitious and is able to delight our customers by delivering our services on time all the time!

As a Operations Excellence & Community intern (Dutch), you will be working within the Operations department, consisting of 8 colleagues. Amberscript offers customers manual revised transcriptions, subtitles and translations, which is done by our global community of freelancers. You are in charge of managing the Dutch market, with our freelancer community on one side and customer requests on the other. You will be working on our perfect platform to assign the jobs to the freelancers and make sure everything is delivered on time and of quality to the customers. You will also help the freelancer community grow and increase their engagement!

WHAT YOU WILL ACHIEVE

Ensure that 100% of the transcription & captions files in the Dutch language are delivered within 3 business days
Establish an engaged transcriber pool for the Dutch region
Help to document and implement manual subtitles & translated subtitles processes
Support Operations Specialist in day-to-day tasks
Automate and streamline onboarding process for 600+ freelancers in 15 languages
Source and attract freelancers from the Dutch region
Improve freelance retention and satisfaction, resulting in a tight knit community
Create communications for freelancers all around the globe (i.e. monthly newsletters, webinars, training sessions, etc.)

YOUR PROFILE

You are…

studying at university level (NL: HBO or WO)
interested in different languages and cultures
passionate about startups and innovation
strongly motivated to make an impact
a good coordinator, able to work with multiple people at the same time
detail-oriented
a natural talent in planning
a strong communicator, native Dutch speaker
able to work in Amsterdam
