This way we cut out the middlemen and give the farmers the best price. Next to that we work together with the farmers to restore the environment through reforestation.

The Project

We are launching a new skincare brand built around our own shea butter, sourced directly from smallholder farmers in Ghana. This project aims to radically shift the power from skincare giants to smallscale farmers by replacing outdated models with one that is transparent, fair, and future-proof.

Our mission is simple: Soft on the Skin, Hard on Injustice. That means better skincare for consumers, fairer pay for farmers, and a more sustainable industry overall. We are building a company from scratch that prioritizes top-quality, natural products and eliminates unnecessary middlemen. By keeping the value chain as short as possible, we can offer premium skincare at a fair price while ensuring that value flows directly to the people who produce the ingredients.

This is more than a product launch. It is an experiment to test a new model of impact: bringing farmer- made products directly to consumers and proving that ethical, effective skincare can lead the future of beauty. Over the next 5 months, our core team of three will co-create and launch this brand, developing everything from identity to go-to-market strategy. You will be a key part of this transformative journey.

Your role

As our Marketing and Sales Intern, you will lead the creation of engaging content that brings our brand to life. You will develop the marketing strategy and produce photo and video content, managing social media channels, and shaping the visual and narrative identity of our brand. You will also help prepare and promote our crowdfunding campaign, support email marketing, and track campaign performance using basic analytics tools. On the sales side, you will help us connect with early customers, support our online store, and contribute to outreach toward retail leads. This is a creative and hands-on role for someone who wants to tell stories that inspire and move products.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position you must meet the following requirements:

• Language: Professional Working Proficiency in Dutch and English.
• You should be based in the Netherlands
• Strong skills or experience in photography and videography (including editing)
• Ability to create and manage content for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn
• Interest or background in marketing, sales, or digital communication
• Experience with basic design or editing tools (e.g. Canva, Adobe Suite, CapCut)
• Comfort with basic analytics and performance tracking
• Strong communication skills and creativity
• Adaptability and energy to work in a fast-paced startup environment
• Interest in sustainability, beauty, or ethical consumer brands is a plus
